A white filling is a composite material made up of resin and glass, which is a tooth coloured and mercury free and can be used for many different purposes.

If you have a broken or decayed tooth, a composite filling can be used to restore the tooth to its original shape and colour.

Yes, placement of a cosmetic white filling is a highly skilled procedure. Ensuring that the colour and contour of the new filling matches your tooth exactly takes time and expertise.

WILL I HAVE ANY DISCOMFORT AFTER A WHITE FILLING?

Not usually, however, some patients find that after having a larger white filling placed they may develop some mild sensitivity for a period of time afterwards, this should settle down within a few days.
