BOTOX

Botox is a prescription only medicine and may only be recommended where appropriate following a facial skin consultation.

Botox is applied to parts of the face that do a lot of the work in forming our expressions and are thus prone to developing lines and wrinkles. Frown lines, crows’ feet around the eyes, and wrinkles and lines around the corners of the mouth are commonly treated areas.

By injecting botulinum toxin into the affected area, it temporarily paralyses the underlying muscles, preventing them from contracting as forcefully, softening the impression of deeper wrinkles. Fine lines and minor wrinkles will appear much less visible.

Procedure time is 15-30 minutes and the initial effects of the treatment will become visible within 48 to 72 hours and the maximum effect is reached within 1-2 weeks. Duration of result is 3-4 months, results may vary.

FILLERS

If you have naturally thin lips, or deep nose to mouth grooves, then dermal fillers may be the ideal treatment for you.

The fillers that we use are made from hyaluronic acid, a substance that is found naturally in the body to help keep the skin hydrated. By replacing lost hyaluronic acid in the lips or nose to mouth groove, you are boosting the skins ability to hydrate itself.

Lumi Eyes

Lumi Eyes is a type of tissue stimulator that is specifically designed for use in needle Mesotherapy treatments around the eyes and tear valley area. Unlike other treatments, Lumi Eyes does not cause side effects such as lymphoedema.

This high-quality product contains polynucleotides that have a strong tissue-regenerating effect, helping to repair damage to the dermis. The Lumi Eyes Treatment effectively hydrates and rejuvenates the skin tissue while reducing symptoms of fatigue and skin discolouration. 3-4 treatments are recommended with an interval of 4 weeks and treatment is repeated twice a year.

Profhilo

Profhilo is an injectable anti-ageing treatment made from hyaluronic acid, a natural substance found in the skin. It is a new remodelling agent that stimulates the production of collagen and elastin, helping to rejuvenate and tighten the skin. Profhilo also attracts water which helps to hydrate the skin.

Profhilo improves skin tone, texture, hydration and overall radiance. It can help to increase firmness and elasticity and promote healthier and softer-looking skin. Profhilo is most commonly used for facial areas, but can also be used to rejuvenate the neck, decollete, arms, knees and hands.

Profhilo generally lasts 6 months if 2 treatments are given one month apart. After the initial treatments, we recommend coming back to see us every 6-9 months.

Results can last up to 6 months, then we would recommend maintenance treatment.
